Scan your wallet for address poisoning

Address poisoning is an attack where a scammer sends a tiny transaction from an address crafted to look almost identical to one you have used before — sharing the same first and last few characters — hoping you copy it from your history by mistake. Paste your wallet address below and we will scan your recent transfers across Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, and Polygon in parallel.

Scans 5 EVM chains in parallel (Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon) — your address is never stored
We never ask for private keys or seed phrases

How it works

  1. Paste your wallet address. Enter any EVM wallet address you control. We fetch your transfers across Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, and Polygon in parallel via Alchemy.
  2. Per-chain poisoning detection. Crypvent compares incoming transfers against the addresses you have actually sent toon that specific chain. Any sender whose first 4 and last 4 characters match a real contact on that chain — but whose full address differs — is flagged as a lookalike.
  3. Dust detection. Zero-value or tiny transfers from unknown senders are flagged separately per chain. Scammers use these dust transactions to plant fake addresses in your history.
  4. Review the highlighted diff, then decide. For each suspicious address we show the exact chain name, direct block explorer links, and a character-by-character comparison: matching bookends in green, differing middle in red.

Frequently asked questions

What chains does Crypvent check?

Crypvent scans 5 major EVM networks simultaneously: Ethereum Mainnet, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, and Polygon. Transfers are fetched in parallel and evaluated per chain for lookalikes and dust.

Why is poisoning detection run per chain?

A lookalike address is crafted specifically to exploit wallet transaction history. When you send funds on Base, your wallet shows your Base history. Matching a sender on Base against a recipient on Arbitrum would produce false positives, so Crypvent strictly evaluates lookalikes against the outgoing history of each respective chain.

Do you store or transmit my address?

Your address is sent to our server only to query the Alchemy API for transfer history. We do not log, store, or share it. The poisoning analysis runs completely securely.

Will you ever ask for my private key or seed phrase?

Never. Crypvent only needs your public wallet address. Anyone asking for your private key or seed phrase is attempting to steal your funds.

I see a suspicious address — what should I do?

Never copy an address from your transaction history. If you need to send funds to a contact, obtain their address directly through a trusted channel — a verified email, phone call, or their official website — and verify the full address character by character before confirming any transaction.

Does this cover tokens and NFTs, not just native coins?

Yes. We scan native currency transfers (ETH, MATIC/POL) as well as ERC-20 token, ERC-721 NFT, and ERC-1155 multi-token transfers across all supported chains.
